STELLAR (2).png

STELLAR is a language teaching programme that is designed to help pupils acquire English language skills through activities in listening, speaking, reading, writing and visual literacy through the use of motivating and enjoyable "big books" of enlarged print and illustrations.

This approach helps to strengthen both language and reading skills as well as promote a positive attitude towards reading in the foundational years through the use of well-established, learner-centred and developmentally appropriate pedagogical approaches using authentic children's literature.

Moo-O (1).png

Moo-O , a participatory electronic story book, is a fun and engaging software program that encourages children to read expressively and develop their storytelling skills.

Using a webcam, the children will be transported into the virtual story world, where they become the characters they have chosen. Then using a PC microphone, the children can record their voices as they read the story. The final video clip they produce can be easily shared with teachers, classmates, friends and families.

Newsmaker (1).png

NewsMaker provides students an easy, affordable, and fun platform to practice writing, speaking and presentation skills, with the help of interactive digital media.

NewsMaker is neither grade-level specific nor content-area specific. It is a tool to help students improve their communication skills while mastering content in any subject area.

With NewsMaker, students take on the role of news anchor and producer, creating their own story in 3 easy steps: Write! Read! Publish!

ARTS ALIVE!

Drama Performances endorsed by the National Arts Council were arranged for pupils during assembly periods - provide good language models and demonstrate the efficient use of language (clarity, diction and vocabulary).
